more cows than people

i was wondering about what would come of unfound beans.

umm... you don't have mice in your church, do you?

Goodness, I hope not, but probably - its an old church. That is of course, one possibility for the demise of the beans - mice.

Don't all churches have church mice? :)

Love this idea, and the image of a bean stuck to some unsuspecting mans trousers!
As for the mice, well I'd rather not go there.

Isn't there a patron saint of jelly beans? That may be the demise.

This is an awesome idea. I'm going to save this for my Easter file -- if that's OK.

I kinda like the lesson at the end. I mean, if you are searching for the resurrection and something goes unnoticed. That's provocative to me. I'm not sure what it means. But, I like it.

I think it's very mission and ministry minded to feed the mice... aren't we called to care for God's creation? And don't the mice of the world deserve a special Easter treat?

You all make me laugh. I love your ideas - patron saint of jelly beans and feeding the mice as an act of mission. Nice.

Glad you got a chuckle out of it too - I'll let you know if I ever find one of the 6. I so hope I do - or someone else does.

Quaker Pastor

Whoa--this rocks! I'm going to write it down to remember for next year! QP

ms rev or not

this was great!

That's fun! My church hid real hard boiled eggs one year. The following Thanksgiving when we wondered why the youth lounge had a strong odor, we found the one that was missing!!

Jelly beans make much less odor when they are lost.... at least I am just assuming.

What great fun!

I personally think there is a patron saint of mice who helped lead one special mouse to all 6 of the lost beans- and we have a church mouse, her name is Zora.
